Shift in the Wind — Palestinian Terrorism

Poll shows sharp drop in support for suicide bombings
By The Associated Press
“JERUSALEM – Support among Palestinians for suicide bombings has dropped sharply in the past six months, from 77 percent to 29 percent, according to a poll published Monday. . . .
“In the poll, 29 percent of respondents said they approved of last month’s bombing in Tel Aviv, compared to 77 percent who supported an August bus bombing that killed 16 Israelis in the town of Be’er Sheva.”

This is certainly good news. No matter how much I wanted to sympathize with the “plight” of the Palestinians, I could never support or feel sorry for them as long as the vast majority approved of and even supported the terrorist suicide/homicide bombers. This shift in the wind is a welcome sign.
