On our Way to Italy

by Steve Ray on May 11, 2005

Janet and I are on our way to Italy to celebrate our 11th Anniversary into the Catholic Church — on Pentecost Sunday. We plan to celebrate Sunday Mass at St. Peter's with the new pope.

We land in Milan on Thursday. We willl rent a car and slowly make our way to Rome over the first two days. We will also visit the Eucharistic miracle of Orvieto along the way (half way between Florence and Rome). In Milan we will research  St. Ambrose, and in Pavia (just south of Milan) we will research St. Augustine, both for our future DVD Fathers of the Church: Defining the Faith.

I will try to post a daily blog of our adventures — Lord willing!
