We are on our way to the airport

by Steve Ray on January 19, 2008

Heading for Israel to lead the Catholic Way Bible Study group. We will be in touch and Lord willing (and technology willing)

I will be uploading our Virtual Pilgrimage Videos each night. You can see them all here. Keep us in your prayers. Steve & Janet Ray

SUNDAY UPDATE: It's 4:30 AM Monday morning Israel time and we just arrived at the Notre Dame in Jerusalem–our favorite city in the world. Monday we visit a lot of folks, distribute gifts and prepare for our Catholic Way Bible Study pilgrims who arrive on Tuesday morning. On the plane I got a lot of writing done for the CSS Bible Study on Genesis. Since it is 4:30 we hear the wailing Muslim calls to prayer from nearby minarets.

Steve Ray on Catholic Answers Live on YouTube

by Steve Ray on January 19, 2008

I was just informed by a friend of two things: 1) that an anti-Catholic ministry had uploaded a YouTube video in response to my Catholic Answers appearance last Monday; and 2) that another friend had uploaded a video response. You may enjoy this video about the canon of the Old Testament by clicking here.

You should also get Gary Michuta's book Why Catholic Bibles are Bigger if you want to get the full story. From what I understand, there will be a document to follow up in a day or two.

Several anti-Catholic websites seem to have gotten their facts wrong on the Council of Trent and the Canon as well. Read Gary Michuta’s report here

EWTN Signs Contract to Show Footprints of God!!

by Steve Ray on January 19, 2008

I am very pleased to announce that EWTN, Ignatius Press and myself have reached an agreement to air the Footprints of God DVDs on EWTN Television for the next seven years. This has been in the works for many years and it is now a reality. I thank Mark Brumley and Tony Ryan from Ignatius Press and John Elson from EWTN for their patience, hard work and careful deliberations.

I will now be flying to Phoenix to work with Joe Reynolds at Skyline Productions to edit the series for TV. They should begin airing in a few months. This is big news and we are all very excited!
