We were all sad to leave the beautiful hotel and Sneem in the southwest corner of Ireland. But it was a beautiful day full of sunshine and puffy clouds and we drove east towards County Cork.

Our first stop was a castle and Blarney where everyone wanted to kiss the Blarney Stone. Good pictures and videos of this :-). Lunch and then on our way to Cashel Rock where Saint Patrick baptized new believers into the Catholic Faith.

Mass at the Holy Cross Abby which is a restored monastery from ancient times. And we drove through the beautiful County of Tipperary on our way to the Manella hotel we had a great dinner and great storytelling which you can experience in the other videos that put up.

Again we did a parody, or a bus version, of Catholic Answers Live while driving through the countryside. What a blast! Another great day. Enjoy!

Our Friend Fr. Benedict Groeschel died Yesterday

by Steve Ray on October 4, 2014

IMG_4513.PNGIt is with sadness that I mention that father Benedict died last night. Janet and I had gotten very fond of him and spent time in his retreat center. We will treasure the times we spent with him.

Because of his habit and his beard I told him one time that every time I saw him it made me want to read The Hobbit again.

He was aged 81 and died on the eve of his patron saint’s feast day, St. Francis.

Please pray for the repose his soul.

History of Religion; Muslim Demographics, the World

Watch this 7 minute video (below) titled: MUSLIM DEMOGRAPHICS: THE TIDAL WAVE (15 million have viewed this video)

See the world your grandchildren will know–different from the world we know today. It is my opinion that Islam is maybe the greatest threat to the world, to peace and to freedom. Islamophobic, hysteric?

Hardly. I am realistic. And if so many Americans were not so naive and politically correct, we would be concerned and smarten up about who and what we allow in our country. ISIS, Hamas and Alqaeda are just the tip of the iceburg.

Scary stuff!
