Today we voyaged from Athens to Thessalonica where Paul preached the gospel to the Jews and then to the Gentiles.
Today we took a tour of Thessalonica and had Mass in the Catholic Cathedral here. The Greek Orthodox claim to be 97% of the population and are not kind to the Catholics, but there are faithful and devout Roman Catholic’s here in Thessalonica, as you’ll see in this video.
At the church I took 20 minutes to explain St. Paul’s visit here, the condition of Thessalonica and the meaning of his two epistles.
