St. Paul and Thessaloniki

Today we voyaged from Athens to Thessalonica where Paul preached the gospel to the Jews and then to the Gentiles.

Today we took a tour of Thessalonica and had Mass in the Catholic Cathedral here. The Greek Orthodox claim to be 97% of the population and are not kind to the Catholics, but there are faithful and devout Roman Catholic’s here in Thessalonica, as you’ll see in this video.

At the church I took 20 minutes to explain St. Paul’s visit here, the condition of Thessalonica and the meaning of his two epistles.

First Day at Sea!

Here is the video from friday. We drove across Greece to our ship south of Athens and boarded and headed out to see.

The group that is cruise-only arrive before us and were greeting us as we entered the ship. Enjoy the video!
